The Crime Scene, Cont.
The Third Floor
1. A copy of the October, 1996, Boulder County Business Report was found near John's desk.
It had his picture circled with a red, hand-drawn, heart. Again this could have been left here during
the night and the Ramsey's missed it in their rush to make their 7:00 a.m. flight to Charvoix. But, in
the confusion of the morning, several people were walking around the house. One of these persons
could have positioned the magazine by the desk in a moment, especially if it had been placed
somewhere out of sight on the third or second floor by previous agreement. I think this is refering
to the incident in the book, IN COLD BLOOD, where Dick takes the young girl's hand:
" Dick smiled and winked at her. He was sorry he felt as he did about her, for his
sexual interest in female children was a .secret hed never confessed to anyone
and hoped no one suspected .Seducing pubescent girls, as he had done 8 or 9
times .He took the childs hand and said, Youre my baby girl, Youre my little
sweetheart. .."
By leaving the heart drawn on the palm of JonBenet and the picture of John Ramsey
on the magazine the killer is trying to implicate the father as a secret pedophile
having a perverted sexual relationship with his daugter. The killer may feel the
same way as Perry who stated he couldn't stand a person who couldn't control
themselves sexually. He had no problem killing those same intended victims.
His attitude concerning sex was formed apparently by his memory of his mother's
alcoholic promiscuousness played out in front of him time and again. Does the killer
HAVE A SIMILAR BACKGROUND? Who reacted violently, denouncing John Ramsey as
having sex with his daughter when news of the murder was first broadcast on the
26th.?
